Hi simple one really, will I need spring compressors to change my suspension top mounts on the front or can it be done in a similar way to the upper wishbones replacement.
I ask as I have lent my spring compressors to some one but was hoping to take advantage of the weather this morning to get this done.

I used spring compressors when I changed the front top mount on my GTA.
There didn't seem to be too much tension in the spring, but I'd imagine it's a bit of a battle to get the strut back together without the aid of a spring compressor.

Yes, you will need spring compressors as the top mount is bolted to the top of the damper.
