Hi,

I've got to get round to changing the passenger side driveshaft on the 156. It's the first thing thats gone wrong with the car in three months!!

Has anyone ever done one? Just wondering if it's an easy afternoon job or should I get the Sud out incase I need to go to work in it tomorrow?:)

Get the Sud ready just in case.

It is doable, but as with everything it will always take longer than it should.

FYI, no difference with it being a Selespeed. Exactly the same as a manual.

I thought it would be the same part for the selespeed and the standard 2.0 but the dealer I got it from said that it would be different. He had to order it in but he had the 2.0 on the shelf. He didn't charge any extra and I have looked at the driveshaft on my brothers 2.0 and I wouldn't have said there was much difference.

Just checked ePER and there is no difference for a Selespeed.
There are however a few different versions for PreSept2000 TS, but again no different for a Selespeed.

I'm trying to put my Passenger side shaft back in, but the retainer/Circlip keeps bending and coming off. Am i doing it wrong, and is there a specific way to do it?
