I am hunting Down some knocking from the front suspension.
Changed the upper wishbones helped some.
But there is still some knocking.

Thinking about changing the drop links since they are pritey cheep compared to other front suspesion parts.

Is this a simple, bolt off - bolt on type of jobb?

You will need both front wheels off the ground and the car on an even surface to release the pressure on the drop link.
Be prepared to cut the old nuts off. You might be lucky but they are prone to rust unfortunately. A good wire brushing and plenty of penetrating fluid helps.

As smokey says and also clean out the allen socket in the threaded part with a pick so the allen key can go all the way in so less chance of it rounding
