Hello guys,

I have just returned from my holidays, to find that when i unlock my car the central locking goes haywire, when i first turn the key it unlocks, then locks itself again, then unlocks and so on. Then, it stops, and the central locking no longer works....

Car is a 146ti on a V plate.

Any help appreciated! Thanks

You could try removing the big yellow relay from the fusebox, removing the cover and cleaning the contacts with switch cleaner.

My central locking plays up a lot, it always unlocks the car but I have to lock both doors manually.

Try wd40 in the locks, the motors have to work hard to opperate the locks and if there is any dirt in there it will make life hard for them. spray grease them after,it will help.
