No it's not right. The Twinspark needs at least a 10w 40 semi synthetic oil.

Lowest I used was a 5/40 fully synthetic for the winter months, 10/40 for summer? Loads of backposts on personal preferences on this though?:):

I used 5w 40 fully synthetic oil in my Twinny all year round.

A 0w-40 will be ok, but a 0w-30 is too thin at operating temperature.

Apparently there is virtually no difference between a 0w-40 and a 5w-40 at cold viscosity. The reason it gets a 0w instead of a 5w is that the pour point is lower. Hence it takes a lower temperature for it to solidify. :thumbs:

I normally use a 5w-40 in my cars.

I thought Selenia was expensive until I looked at Castrol's prices ... phew! And you only get 4 litres at a time.
