Hi guys. I know there are few posts already and I've been reading trough them for past few days, but I just can't find the crankshaft sensor with the brown clip... Should be visible from the top with engine cover on? Because the only two I can see are the white and blue one. My car has the symptoms of a faulty crank sensor and I've ordered today a new one, but I can't locate the one that needs replaced. Please anyone sort me out!

Some of the range (inc 147) don't have the brown clip on the inlet manifold and instead have the cable direct to the sensor that then plugs onto to the sensor (the sensor having a connector on it, not a cable).

So that means I've ordered a bad sensor (Bosch with brown clip, 710mm cable) or I can plug the cable directly on this sensor as well?

I think you should buy the correct sensor for your car.

I have just seen the one without cable and ordered with my engine code. It was unclear for me before because my car seemed to be compatible with the other sensor on seller's website. Many thanks for your help!
