On Sunday evening just after 5:30pm a lorry/van dropped it's load of matured Silver Birch trunks onto the A252 Charing Hill at the junction of the Hill. Unfortunately they blocked the road and I was the first on the scene. My XKR  (not the 156) has been badly damaged, a motorcyclist next on the scene was lucky not to be badly injured, several other vehicles struck the debris but did not stop. The Police have an incident reference number KP201001171031 and the local PCSO should be making enquiries in Charing. I would appreciate it if anyone here has any information that would help the motorcyclist and I to find the logger responsible.

Thanks Richard

Most of the force was taken by the lower crossmember, the front strut has gone and the radiators are 30cms further back than they should be
