A mate of mine who knows nothing about cars is doing my head in. He has to have Designer everything, any way to the cars.

He went from a Mondeo to a Celica, and then changed this for another Celica. However he changed when he bought his first BMW. Suddenly my car was ****, despite it being good enough for him when being driven to the football on a Saturday afternon.

His best line is "Iam a BMW Man now, i do not drive anything else" He buys his cars at 1 year old and trades them in at 3 years old, for exactly the same model, colour, engine and trim.

He has turned into a right ****** over the last few years.

The other thing is he does not like to use his car in case it runs up the miles, what is the point of having a car if you do not drive the f******** thing.

What a tool. Unfortunately people like that are the kind that don't realise that they have become total toss pieces and if you ever told them would just go into total denial.

If he is still a good mate then just avoid talking cars with him/giving lifts etc.

If not then you will be non the worse off for not having him in your life by the sounds of it

I think I know your friend.
He used to be a really decent guy before the Beamer Came along but now Richard Head is unfortunately just that !! Sad

His Beemers always have cloth seats, funny that. He would think nothing of paying £60 for Paul Smith Cufflinks.

It is sad, as he used to be a really good bloke!

He is one of those guys that if you do not call him he will not call you, needless to say i have not seen him for some time now, but it is no loss.

Doesn't seem much of a friend if he's willing to place a car ahead of a friendship.

Look on the bright side. His choice of vehicle made you see the light. Not him.
