Hello guys,

I'm changing the timingbelt of my V6 and want to be sure that everything is good positionned before remounting. Can anybody give the reference points on the camshafts and on the pulley, because I do not trust my own points :D ? Any pictures ?

Thank a lot !!!!

Just mark all the pullies with tip ex- you can't go wrong! After changing, turn the crankshaft over at least twice to make sure there is no valve to piston contact and it'll be peachy! The V6 marks aren't critical

Can you explain why?????

Surely if the timing marks are out then either it wont go or it`ll run badly or there will be valve to piston contact

So i would say the timing marks are pretty critical ...................That`s why there there
