i ve been told its 9 hours for the 8v :eek: :eek: but only 3 for the 16v, that sound right?

My 16v was done in 3 Hours, but read my post Oil leaks???

The 8v is a cam chain, 16v is cambelt. Cambelts are fairly (!) easy, dunno about chains but would guess its a longer job.....9hrs does sound a long time though!

16vs take about 2 hrs for variator an all but you have to wait 2hrs for the glue to go off on the variator 8 hrs does seem long .

8 Or 9 hours to do a Cam Chain sounds about right as you have to remove the timing case which makes up the front of the engine
