Hi all
been lurking here for a while now and tomorrow(friday) i pick up a 159.. cant wait . as i am not near any alfa specialist i will probably have to source many parts online.
My local shop said he will try to order what he can but they dont stock anything alfa.
One of the first jobs will be a timing kit and water pump and these i would like to be genuine parts.
My question is where do i source parts? what sites do you use? i found these https://www.alfaworkshop.co.uk/parts/159_Cambelt_Kit.shtml and https://www.shop4parts.co.uk/
Can you recommend any others?
any info welcome Regards g1xer

I just got my belt kit from euros as it was easy, prices are high but once you put there usual discount code in they are pretty much same as everywhere else.

Fitted a gates kit which is a good reputable make,no idea if it’s OE though.

Autodoc can be cheap but they can take a week to ship. I got my alternator from them.
Shop4parts were swift and so were alfashop and alfaworkshop.

Congrats on the purchase, I hope you enjoy it - what engine did you go for??

Regarding parts, another vote for Alfa Workshop - Shaun and the team are great - Also use Shop4parts regularly - OEM parts with good prices - even more if you ask for the 10% code for being a forum member: https://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/gen...1-exclusive-discount-code-for-shop4parts.html - can't remember who makes the OE parts, but anything you buy from either of the above will be in an Alfa box - on some engines you can buy the kit including the waterpump for about £20 more.

Brakes and other service items you can get from your Euro Car Parts (or carparts4less - ECP without the markups, then discounted on the constant sale) or other motor factors.
