That gets my goat too.

"Wow, brush my teeth you say? Awesome!!"

Is it actually the first part of an ongoing mental health campaign?

Apologies - I'm in my 50's and adverts can still drive me to insensible rage. I'm better now.
Ahh, I have an answer for that: No commercial telly. None at all.

The frequency & then unbearable length of commercial breaks makes programs unwatchable so far as I'm concerned.

If it's not on BBC or Netflix, we don't watch it.

Agree. They are exasperatingly moronic:

‘Being really stupid, I asked my dentist what was the best way to look after my teeth. After he/she put on their white cloak, they showed me a simpleton’s demonstration of how to brush my own teeth, using a toothbrush. Now I’m here, in the park, skipping away with my 18 month baby, while smiling lots and lots in a way that suggests brushing your teeth absolves any worries you may have about paying your mortgage or that strange and probably expensive noise your car’s making. When they’re older, I’ll be sure to tell my baby about the importance of brushing their teeth, all thanks to the advice from my dentist.’

And they all lived toothy-grinned happily ever after.

Now you "brush like a Pro"?

I just did a quick count and I have 5 friends who are professional brushers of teeth - can anyone top that?
