Hi,bit of a strange one but any thoughts would be appreciated. When i turn the ignition on the system does it's checks and the bulb failure light goes out. As soon as you start the engine it comes on. It's the rear offside tail light.if you check the bulb there is a very low current going to it even when the lights aren't on! If you turn the lights on the bulb failure light goes out!!! But the tail light still doesn't work properly. However, if you take the bulb out and put it back in or unplug and re plug the connector it works perfectly, until you either turn the lights off or restart the engine. In which case you're back to square one.
I've traced the wiring back to the rev counter and this low voltage current seems to be the problem, as it isn't on any of the other feeds. So i,m guessing there's a problem with the bulb failure board in the revcounter. However before i shell out on a new revcounter, i just wondered if anyone knows something i don't!!
Many thanks

You're on the right lines, rev counter required...
