The 9th and 10th rounds of the BRSCC Alfashop Alfa Romeo Championship take place at Thruxton on the 17th and 18th of August.

This is the first time the Alfa Championship has been to Thruxton since the mid-1990s.

The timetable will see the Alfa qualifying session take place on Saturday 17th at 11:10 with the first Alfa race of the weekend at 15:45. The second race will be on Sunday 18th at 14:35.

There are lots of other races and various things going on throughout the weekend as this is quite a big race meeting that we have been invited to be part of. There are some more details about the meeting, including details of how to get tickets in advance, here :

There is no need to buy tickets in advance though - you can just turn up on one or both days and pay to get in.

We're expecting a pretty good grid of cars for the Alfa races - it should be at least 25 cars. We'd love to have some support from any local alfaowner members. Make sure if you do come you make a visit to the paddock and have a look at the cars and a chat with the drivers and teams.

Hope to see some of you there.
