I have broken the key off in the boot lock of my GTV.Anyone know how to remove the barrel,I just cant see how it fits together

You ll need to open the boot using the boot release button in the glove box. If you can do that you'll need to remove the inner panel on the boot lid to get to the lock itself and as far as i know its held on by two bolts and you'll need to carefully remove the arm that is connected to the lock within the boot lid. Then being careful remove the badge that is spring loaded and then you be able to remove the lock.

If not, try freezing the key within the lock using a can that you can get from any automotive store that actually freezes seized bolts. Then try to take the key out using a strong magnet.
