Good evening all,

Is there a good product to fix the tracks in my rear window that no longer demist?

As usual any help very much appreciated.

I've noticed this on mine, 1 track has almost blown, with small scorch marks.

In the past, I had a small bottle of silver paint which worked quite well, think it was made by a company called Granville...

I've used that conductive paint on my old 147. Masked the broken track either side and painted the line back in. Worked a treat.

Never had any joy with it. If you paint it too thin it just burns off ....too wide and it looks crap and after that it either burns off or peels off. Can get really hot too. YMMV!

Same here I used it on my old 159sw was a pain to get it on and stick properly without peeling off when removing the masking tape. Once it stuck with heated screen on the repaired area could be seen to get hotter as it cleared in “chunks” after a week or so it just burnt out.
