Hi, I got a little impatient yesterday with the wheels cos they've been sat around for aaaaaages, so I washed the car and test fitted 2 of the wheels on one side of the car.

I always thought that the CH's didnt really look like 19's even though they were, but these definately look 19''.

I am loving the results and here they are........

Good question Matt, Im not 100% sure about adapters, Ive been assured by various people that they'd be safe but you never know really. My missus has adapters on her car without any issues so far so we'll have to suck it and see. :D

Don't the wheels foul the arches? There is only 1 cm between the edge of the wheels and the rear arches...suppose yours is a GTA and wider though?

You rekon they will screw up the handling?

Nice wheels mate but I'm afraid to my eye they are a bit too big for the car :(

I didnt drive it at all really, just turned it round, but im 100% sure they are going to foul the arches. Im going to get the arches rolled in a week or 2 and Ill probably have to trim down the inner arch edge of the rear bumper too.:)

They will affect the handling, without a doubt but how much remains to be seen, as i said, i didnt really drive it at all, as you can tell by the rusty brakes. Same as fitting spacers to the GTA though isnt it and a few owners have done that.

If I dont like any aspect of how they work in practice, Ill just take 'em off and sell them and go back to the CH's so its gonna be a bit of trial and error over the next few months methinks.

this has also crossed my mind too, I keep thinking it almost looks like a 'carciture'
Maybe 'cos it's so low - just looks a bit out of proportion to me :)

I'll have to see em in the flesh, I'm not sure they suit the car tbh :( I honestly think the CH looked a lot better.

off the top of my head, i havent a clue about the centre bores, but i have considered work on the hubs in the past but have been told by a few people (specialists and engineerds) that it wouldnt work.:(

i suspect it'd look worse raised but i suppose you never know till ya try.
To my eyes, the only thing that looks a bit wrong in them pics is that the stance isnt quite right, as in the back is too low for the front or the front is too high for the back, so either raise a touch at the back or lower a touch at the front.

They look amazing!
thanks Paul. :)
