Morning all. Just picked up my 2006 Brera 3.2. The manual refers to two types of headlights, halogen and xenon. (Do not touch..danger of death according to the book.) As a newbie Alfa owner, my questions is how do I know which is fitted? Is there a simple way of checking?

Two simple ways without opening the bonnet.
Does it have headlamp washers, OEM models with xenons do.
Can you adjust the height/level of your headlights from within the car i.e. is there an adjuster wheel down near your right knee. If you can, then they are not xenon.
If still in doubt, it's under the bonnet you go.

Don't worry, you will only die if you take the lighting unit to pieces whilst the battery is connected, not just by touching the headlamp.

Perfect thanks! Adjuster for beam level in the car, so not xenon. Many thanks. At least I know what I have now. Cheers.
