Just having the front end built on my Brera, but both Front Shock Absorber Forks are rotten!!!
They've crumbled where the bolts go through???
Where can you get them from??
Been searching and I've had more luck finding Lord Lucan.

Any help please. Thanks

I don't want to spoil the "fun", but do you mean something like partnr. 50708567 ?? (check Google!) This looks to me like cast iron.... So to be corroded away seems to me quite strange....

Yes that looks like them.
My mate at his garage is doing it and he rang me to tell me they are rotten and cracked at the top where the bolts are???
I've been trying to get a replacement as he is now doing another car, it's his business etc.

I see some different partnumbers, so pay attention to any difference in shape or material. Best check for the right partnumber on the old forks.

Don't know, I'm trying to find info, but loads of different part numbers.
Some items listed saying they fit Brera/159/Spider, but are different???
It's a nightmare, specially when your not a mechanic or in the know!

Perhaps start by finding what part number your specific car should have by going into Eper and use your VIN. You’ll find a few hacked versions of Eper if you google. There it will also tell you if the part has been superseded by another part.

Do you park your car in the sea at night?!! Strange place to have bad corrosion....never seen more than surface rust on those......ok I live on the South Coast where we use much less salt on the roads....but even so. I would be looking very hard at the subframes etc under your car if the forks are that bad.

Just the uprights...not the forks. Mine has alloy uprights and steel forks.

Mine seemed to be alloy, and not the first case of an alloy one cracking apparently.

suspension fork

On the front passenger side, the fork (aluminum) has cracked at the drop link. I can only find used steel ones for sale. Would this cause an issue changing it to steel? Probably a silly question. Lol

OP, get your mechanic to grab some pics of the old part, including the failure point if you can.

Hi, been down to his garage this morning and I think he's told me porkys!
I think he has broke them by hitting them to try and get the bolts out.
I took a picture and I think you will agree.
