Got some powdercoated red 166 calipers from a friend but he didn't send me the link pipes... Does anyone know an online place to get them? I would need them correctly bent with new connectors.

Don't know if GTV/Fiat Coupe would fit as the 166 calipers are larger. Found some of those on eBay but cannot contact seller as he disabled message receiving.

Thanks :)

my local garage made up the solid sections of pipe from the caliper to the flexis in 5 minutes flat. I would assume any mechanic could do the same for the sectons that you want.

I happen to have my old calipers available for reconditioning, having bought a reconditioned pair. But I suspect its not worth you buying and shipping them to Zagreb...?!

Anyone else interested?

All Brembo parts are available from specialists.

Bigg Red do lots of repair kits for the Brembo and Alfa calipers so they might be able to provide the pipes but I'm sure you can get them made locally using normal brake pipe and unions (M10x1.0 IIRC)

There are 2 pistons in each half of the caliper and the pipe links the 2 sides together.

Thanks for your help, everyone :)
Does anyone know the thickness of the pipes?
the pipes on my spare Ferrari Brembo calipers are 5mm and they look pretty much the same as the pipes in your first pic. I know my pistons are slightly smaller than the 166 calipers but I would think the pipes would be the same.

Hopefully someone can confirm the size.

Thanks buellboy
I was trying to contact oldphonebloke but am unable to send a message and emails bounce back. Wouldn't the link pipes for a 166 calipers be a bit larger than the standard GTV/Fiat Coupe? Will the pipes bend easily or I need a pipe bender for that?

Mine are sand blasted and powdercoated so they are rust free with new seals and bolts

Those pipe connectors look the same as the ones I have on my GTV. The connectors look like stands m10 break connectors, In reality i think there is a small difference between english and european pipes but I think it is only slight. The link pipe that phonebloke sells is straight, but it is made of really nice soft copper that you can easily bend with your hands.

Strange that he is not answering ebay messages, he/ is usually very quick...try him on www.caprisport.com,

The ones on the photo are from a GTV, but the 166 pipes are basically the same. If I could bend them easily then it's even better.
It's not that he doesn't answer messages. He disabled messaging completely.
