So, brand new car (sadly not an Alfa this time) delivered yesterday on a low loader from Sheerness, arrived covered in fine sand/grit. Dabbed a wet finger on a mark and immediately left swirls in the soft new paint, so very keen to remove the coating of sand before attempting to wash and wax, so I don't cause any more damage to the paint.
What's the best way to do that? I'm thinking of spraying it with a water/autoglym shampoo mix before rinsing, should that do it?
