Brake pads for the GTV

I am looking to replace my brake pads which is currently yellow stuff with some decent road pads. Any ideas what I should get? My mate recommended me brembos... Is this worth a shot

My other mate said Ferodo FS2500 is good but they are £130!! :tut::tut:
