Hi
I think the tensioners are the same but I thought that there were two belt lengths usually 99 teeth .....and 100 teeth for the 1.7 engines But I would need to double check to be sure.

Close Alfasixnut. All 8v mechanical tappet engines use the same belts and tensioners. Hydraulic tappet 8v engines (ones without the cam covers) use the same tensioners but a slightly longer belt as you mention. 16v engines use longer belts again and different tensioners, as well as an idler pulley on each bank.

The ebay listing you linked to is wrong in that the image is of an 8v tensioner so won't fit the 16v engines listed.

Thanks for replying.
I went inside the Gates column to see the differences, seems exactly what you said.
The engine is a Hydraulic Tappets (without cam cover), spouse to be from '91.
That engine series share 3 codes: 307.34 (Carb'), 307.50 (i.e) and 307.51 (Cat').
Mine is .50 so i guess Kit D7 is the correct one:

Appreciate if someone can confirm that, as the part will be ordered from abroad.
What can you say please about the accessories belt (Water pump to Alternator)?
Couldn't find one.

Thanks again.
