Want to get a boot liner as I have some work equipment I need to ship around to site, there's quite a few options on Ebay etc but require it to be anti-slip as I can hear stuff sliding about on the carpet at the moment.. there's a few at around the £30 - £50 mark which look Ok and some that are a lot more. Wondered whether rubber is the preferred material over PVC or does it matter? cheers

I’ve had the boot rails fitted and the adjustable divider bar. Works really well. I also turn the floorboard upside down sometimes to avoid damage to the carpet. Covering the floorboard in rubber would be pretty good perhaps?

Thanks cue2 ... I just googled boot rails Stelvio and came across your original post.. That solution looks well engineered and functional but just a bit expensive at around £300 for both parts..

Is that solution drop in or do I need to cut the board?

The rails replace the carpeted inserts each side of the carpeted board. The rubber covers the entire width of the boot floor so not compatible with the rails. Yes £300 is expensive but the clicking noise when you push the divider bar forward to clamp the shopping in place is nice.
My son would usually question why do we need that? But he doesn’t with this!

Ok so here's my boot liner available on Ebay etc for about £33.. It's not an exact fit etc but I think it serve its purpose and it's supposed to be non slip.. thanks for the other suggestions..

Looks ok, fit doesn't look bad at all. What don't you like about it? Is it non-slip?? If so I might purchase one too.
SteveeGee, I'm happy with it, probably not as elegant as cue2 or PapaSmurfs solution but it works.. yes it's advertised as non slip and it seems to be, the pattern on the rubber which are cloverleafs :) looks to stop stuff shifting unless you're really hanging it round corners, will have to test but I stuck work my box in the back and it seemed real firm and planted.. The mat can be rolled up and pulled out easily for cleaning and is made a scented type of rubber that can be washed, much improvement over the carpet which I find difficult to keep clean.

I think you can make a slit in the square corner section if you're using securing straps onto the chrome anchors, might get some straps as well for added protection as my work box is about 25kgs when loaded..

£10 postage. You could probably get it from your local Alfa dealer for the same price overall?
