The boot floor on my GT has collapsed on one side. I don't mean the metal floor under the spare wheel, I mean the flimsy lift up floor above the wheel. The one that appears to be made of cereal packet and then covered with "flock"
Obviously in the past someone's put something heavy on it and it has been pushed down the side of the spare wheel. And I can't get it straightened out so it fits properly.
I think this may be a common problem as one of the cars I rejected when I bought this one was even worse.
Are there any solutions? Has anyone any ideas for stiffening it up in a way that it will still fit properly over the spare?

If you have a space saver spare, I think you can buy something from Alfa to sit over it. When I got a space saver for mine to replace the can of tyre gunk, I made a support to fit the space over the wheel to support the boot floor. I found some solid foam insulation panels from a diy place that was exactly the right depth. Cut this to shape and has worked well for the last three years.
