Having spent the week in Paris I saw swarms of Autolib's electric buggys
swanning around.

These are like the bike you can just take from their locked emplacement
so long as you are part of the club:

These things are probably a good idea but they are ****ing ugly
and come in a grey/silver moulded plastic matt finish that looks
pre-distressed.

Vile looking.

Good job Pininfarina!
(And by "Good" I mean, "WHAT THE **** WERE YOU THINKING?!?!?!")

They were probably thinking they needed the work at PF but it didn't work for them. The only place I've seen Renault Twizzy ,if that's the plural, is in Rome.

Its a question I've been asking for a while, why do all the electric cars (apart from Tesla) look so ugly/weird? Is it so that it is immediately obvious that they are electric? If so why not differentiate by making them super attractive?

Looks a side those stats quoted in the link look quite impressive if they're to be believed. 160miles? 81mph.

However the looks. I think apart from Tesla and the i8 (though that is a hybrid I guess) all of them look ****. Partially down to the battery box below perhaps.
