As some of you may have noticed on an earlier thread, I've had electrical problems causing indicator and headlights and info centre malfuntions.

I've removed and checked everything I could think of over the past few days, and today in desperation I removed the body computer and opened the case to find what looks like water damage to the edge of the circuit board.

So, can this be repaired at a reasonable cost, and if so where?

Alternatively, can I hard wire the indicators and headlights thus missing out the body computer?

Replacing with a new one and paying for it to be installed is, unfortunately, not an option, and the car will have to be scrapped if that is the only way to get it working again

I'd be suggesting get in touch with Ned at Autolusso. The boneyard where old alfa's go to die. He will probably have one.

I was under the impression they had to be coded to the car, and couldn't be recoded?

That's just what I've read on old posts on here, I don't have any idea really
