I know some time back BMW started rounding engine sizes up somewhat. But like my AMD processor model number is 3000+ when really it is clocked at 2000MHz, Have BMW started the same???

I saw a BMW 335 today and was just curious. The BMW 330, has a 2996cc Engine which is bigger than the 2979cc engine of the 335 Which is faster.

The 335 is a turbo, i think the confusing ones were 323s that were detuned 325's, as well as destroked 325's, and the old 318is that actually was a 1.9 16v and probably was a touch better than the 320.

AMD processors are called by their equivalent Rival.
They clock slower but thats because they run cooler. They are just as powerful. I've always used AMD.

Ah didn't realise it was a turbo. Just think it is odd to say it is a 335 rather than a 330 turbo

They call it a 335i ,Then every one will think that goe's well for a aspirated motor not knowing there are 2 turbo's bolted to its 3.o litre engine.over 300bhp then get a remap.
