Got my 55 plate 156 yesterday and it has built in bluetooth.

I tried to pair it but it needs a pin (obviously).

Anyone know whether the pin is specific to the car or just a generic one for the model. If it is the later does anyone know the code?

Thanks

P.S. Already fallen for it's charms. Can't wait to get home from work to take it out again.

Great news on the 156  ... usually handsfree kits use just generic codes, 0000 or 1234 are popular ones ... not sure about alfa ones though ...

How do I do that.

I have read the manual and unless I was reading the wrong section it was not helpful at all.

Which manual the car one or the phone one??

You'll need to delete the pairings on your phone first ... then try to connect

Most older car kits only allow 2 or 3 phones to be paired.

If the previous owner has hit this limit you'll need to delete
the old pairings before pairing your own phone.
Doing that will depend on the kit fitted. It will be in the manual
for the kit.
