Excuse me for the post, probably a simple answer in the handbook, but, that is at home and I wanted to use the sat nav this afternoon.

I checked the memory stick today, all the UK/Ire maps are on there.

Then I put the memory stick in the car, went through the process of putting an address in, but it won't go any further than that. Message comes up:

"Wait......No GPS Signal"

Is there a setting or something I need to switch on before using the Nav?

The aerial is different than most 159s I have seen, has a rectangular lump at the base, and the aerial is thicker and shorter. So I assume this has the GPS unit in it? Or does the system use the one in my phone????

Well, I have read all the books that came with the car, and still can't find a solution.

Tried several times today, in varying localities and still "Wait....No GPS Signal".

Will try a battery off for 10 mins tomorrow, see if that re-sets the GPS receiver.
Shame as was looking forward to using it!

Any ideas folks?

Had the battery off today. Still no good.

Am struggling now. Any ideas?

Where would I find the GPS reciever so I can check the connections?

Anyone.....?!
