Was all geared up for my first track day with the 159 at Le Castellet this
weekend. (A freebie from the dealer.)

Dreaded "Check Engine" light came on last night.

Dealer can't look at it until next week. (Everyone's on holiday, obviously.)

So I'm not going now.

:(:(:(:(

Well, at least I didn't pay/lose the 150 Euros fee. :rolleyes:

The ol' Garmin thing reads codes.

Warranty job, I can't bear to dig into it.

I just can't face the fact that after 18 months and the least
wrong with any of my previous ones, this car has started to
let me down. :(

It'll go in next week and I'll time it during a trip to Grenoble
and use a rental car. That'll get me back on form after
800km in some dull-mobile. ;)

Salesguy offered to give me a lift, but my heart wasn't in it.

It's 300 Euros a pop a Le Castellet normally. :eek:

I'm thinking of planning some track-school time over in the US in December
to make up for it..... ;)

Look on the bright side mate you can have another bash sometime maybe? Find something else enjoyable that will bridge that gap? :): We are relegated to base motoring nowadays but it isn't that bad really, and yours hopefully will only be for a short duration with luck.:):
