I'm a little puzzled. Why do you want a TS CF2 MAF if it's a V6 MAF giving trouble?

There is a thread on here at the moment where someone has bought a vauxhall MAF for £58 took the sensor out of the housing and just replaced the sensor as it's the same part number as the sensor part on the V6 alfa .
I'd put the link on here but I'm using tapatalk on the iPhone and there's no link on it.

Mitch - the sensor inside the TS maf is identical part and in fact identical to that fitted to Vauxhaul 1.7 diesels - the difference is the tube diameter, which affects the airflow over the sensor. Basically Bosch and parts companies shaft you for having a V6
Will get back with Alfadiag code/description. I've removed maf, cleaned it with electrical contact cleaner thoroughly, cleaned all contacts and put dieletric grease on.
Fault code returns seconds after clearing it.

So are all TS sensors the same? The CF1 TS MAFs are really expensive, even compared to a CF2 TS MAF. It would be a right result to find out the sensors are identical.

Yes but those Bosh numbers are for the whole MAF unit. We know that they are listed differently for all the engine types. What this is about is the actual sensor part, not the outside body. looking on the 156 thread, it has been found that the V6 sensor is actually the same as the TS sensor. My question is, are all TS sensors the same?

How effing cruddy are Bosch mafs for the V6?
Previous owner fitted one less than 12 months ago and its gone already, L|ess than 5k miles done.
Sudden glitch for a good second, while tonking it at 5k rpm, idels very rough, hesitancy on pick up and Alfa diag confirms not working.
The pieburg maf in my Seat has been good for 5 years and 40k miles.

Mitch, the important number is the F ----- number stamped on the sensor itself
On the CF2 Twinkie /V6 most models its F 00C 262 030
Check what your exisitng sensor has on it

Fitted my new maf - sensor from Astra 1.7CDI :wow: £64.00
Thats one hell of an expewnsive bit of eversoslightly wider pastic tube for V6.
Writing to Bosch to ask why they are ripping us off.

Its a 1999 Think its a CF2 as its flyby wire throttle with 2 lambdas (my 166 was a flyby wire with one lambda and 1999 and used same sensor)
Just take your sensor out and check if its F 00C 2G2 030 (not 262 as I put earlier)
Ignition light gone, no hesitation, full rev range and smooth idle all back.
So will be looking at refund from somewhere as have recipt for new maf less than 12 months old from previous owner.
