I've seen a couple of comments on these guys in the "Dealers" thread but wondered if anyone else used them on a regular basis? They're just down the road from me and I'm considering going for a little chat with them as I nervously edge back towards Alfa ownership (after an 18 year lay off). Looking at their website they seem to be towards the "premium" end of the spectrum in terms of used sales, but I wonder what their workshop service is like? Do they talk good sense or a good sale, grease under fingernails or in salesman's hair? :confused:

They've got a Matta, you don't need to know any more :D

...sorry, no idea about the quality of their work personally, but some good comments here ;)

I have recently moved to reading and contacted them about a cambelt change.... was rather shocked by the £600 + quoted for a cambelt change! (I asked them to double check)...my local alfa specialist in Bristol would charge £250 tops (with all the same genuine alfa bits!)

I found my Bella there....and have used them ever since...well the past 2yrs anyway...

I would totally recommend them....I agree they are not the cheapest of the independants, but the service obtained and the one to one treatment is next to none. When the **** was hitting the fan with AlfaUK and warranty "issues"....The Guy's there helped me out no end!!!

If you do decide to have a chat with them...I would arrange to talk to Darren or James, before hand.

Conclusion = Greasey fingers 80%.....Sales Hair 20%

ask Darren if they can upgrade that one to Leather....They've done it before....I'm sure.

:)
IIRC they swapped a tan leather interior for a black one for some bloke who bought a silver GTV off them,back in the summer.

:p They might still have the tan bits in the back of a cupboard somewhere?
