My father in laws 156 was broken into last night by joy riders I'm assuming as they stole. Nothing but what they did do was break the storks off from both sides of the steering column. So no idicator stork or right stork for head lights or washers. On the right side they have ripped the wires that went into the stork.
What would you suggest is the best course of action to get it fixed? Would he need to replace the entire unti where the steering is as the wires for the right stork are torn.
. Or could he replace just the parts broken?

Sorry for such a open question. Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks again

It's Saturday .. we're busy ;-)

If they have only damaged the stalks and not the connector at the loom end, then probably just replacing them will work.

Try Pud237 from Autolusso or rgwm who are both members on here and see if they can't get you a new set shipped on Monday.

Ha! Lol
Well on the right side the wires are hanging out where the stork was connected and the wires have been broken! Would that be part of the loom?

As said, it is a complete unit - you need to remove the steering wheel to replace it. Whether there is more wiring work needed will depend on just where the wiring is "hanging out". the main loom is connected to the stalk assembly by plug-in connectors...hopefull they are still Ok and the wires you can see are simply the internal wires in the switchgear. Most breakers will have the switchgear in stock.....
