Got my 2.4 20v 156 on weds and I love it but the only prob is the brakes are shocking.
Part of the reason I think this could be the fact I used to run a 172 Cup (1020kgs) with Pagid Blues, Brembo Discs and braided lines. So in braking terms I have been somewhat spoilt.

Anyway not wanting to spend loads just thinking of fitting summat like DS2500s to the front and keeping the current discs.

Just have a few of questions

1 Will I get much benefit from this?
2 Where is the cheapest place to buy them? MSW quoted £100
3 No place seems to list my car. Can I assume the 10v and 20v have the same brakes?

Thankyou!!

The pads make ALL the difference on the 156. No problem to keep standard Alfa discs and the Ferodo pads - very good combination.

Also make sure you check the calipers front and rear are working correctly and bleed through the brakes with good Dot 4 brake fluid.

I'm not sure if the DS2500's are approved for road use in the UK though

I found the DS2500 to be a fantastic pad, no fade, good bite and very consistent. And worth every penny when you really need a pad in an emergency
