I'm considering having a front end respray on my 9 year old 156 SW.

Should I wait until the weather gets better and there's no grit or salt on the roads or should I do it now when things are quiet?

Definately not now, and I think body shops will be very busy at the moment with all the bumps and shunts in the last 3 weeks......

I'm having mine done now, but then it was rather forced on me by some careless reversing on the part of a neighbour,. At least now it means that his insurance is paying for the new paintwork instead of me, and so I can 'invest' some of my respray budget in having a clear protective film 'mask' applied: Invisible Patterns. It's costing about £485 for the 159, so cheaper than the quote I had of £533 just to spray the bonnet,.
