Any recommendations for the Alfa range of a good tow vehicle for a racer with trailer?
The last tow car I used was a Volvo 164 and it was faultless but they are a little too old now.
No German or Japanese recommendations please as 1939-1945 not forgotten.

How much roughly is it going to be weight wise? I can look in the book then to see what will tow that weight (i do towbars and trailers etc lol)

Spot on! Racer weighs approximately 870 kg. Plus another 40 kg for wheels, spares and tools. The trailer I need must be super lightweight, low loading and short length. Racer is 14 feet x about 5 wide. The A frame needs to be short as possible to fit trailer into garage. Alternatively, I would consider a medium size covered transporter vehicle.
Many thanks ?

Depends where you are on the planet.
The 156 Crosswagon has the highest towing weight of the 156 range (1450kg) and also has the big Brembo brakes.
A 3.2 159 will tow 1800kg so would be good.
