I'm interested in opinions on which would be the best garage for 75 servicing/tuning in uk?

I live in south east Kent but I don't care where it is in uk, I want the best!

My v6 75 needs some TLC new brakes, suspension, exhaust and more!!

Red Motori in Dorset, they know all older alfas as they worked on them when they were new. The guys there are great they have worked on my 75 in the past when it was owned by my grandfather, and they will work on it again when I get round to getting it back on the road.

Bad Garage!

I made a mistake by taking my 75 to Motbitech in Canterbury.

They have previously worked on many 75's and they know the car well, however with all the Taxi's about at their workshop I became sceptical and I was right I asked them to carry out the following!

Fit rubber boot to gear selector and re-fit heat shield. I have attached a picture! They did not attached it properly, held in place by some mastic, not pulled over the housing, heat shield still in the boot!

Brakes, rears sticking: now not only do the rears still stick but the handbrake is almost vertical!! it should have about 4/5 clicks, I looked at the rear callipers and the cable was a loose as it could be! And the second locking nut was hand loose!

So £130 wasted and the issues worse! So much for an Alfa Specialist! If they didn't want to do the work why did they just say "we don't work on 75's anymore"?

Thanks Roger, I will certainly be giving Wayne a call soon, he is the man for 75's I heard from a lot of people!
It's mainly the brakes that need setting up correctly, plus a few small things.
Once it's all done I will be a happy man! Just in time for winter
