[Double Trouble]

Hello all,

I'm currently stripping my '73 2000GTV for restoration, anyone got any tips of screen removal (front and rear)? I'm not concerned about the rubbers but I would like the trim strips to survive intact.

Cheese wire to cut rubber, soft bottom shoes gentle push screen out from the inside with feet.........ideally with a second pair of hands.

If you would like to do this on your own, ie without help. just use a stanley knife to cut round the outside of the metal strip. Do the bottom half first, then, as you do the top half, stick a soft piece of piece of plastic strip in from the top and just tip it forward, ie towards the engine (for the windscreen) or rear of car (for the rear screen). Simples
