Hey guys and gals,

I have a 54 plate GT which has somehow got a buckled/bent rear offside alloy. Looking around I can't find a replacement alloy anywhere (they're the 18" multispoke ones).

Any advice on getting it repaired? (and where? i'm in liverpool)

Does anyone have a spare one knocking around?

Should I be replacing them? I don't really want to as it's gonna cost a fortune to get genuine alfa and I don't really want to get aftermarkets...

I have already had to have these alloys resealed though as they were leaking through the alloy...

Help!

Nick

Damaged

Hey, I think I have the same on the front nearside, car is now starting to shake and I am getting a bit worried by it.
Have you managed to locate anyone selling used alloys?
Did you find out how much Alfa charge directly?
Cheers

I've just done exactly the same thing in my 147! Had a flat, took it in for a new tyre and the guy called me into the workshop as he was trying to balance it - the wheel was wobbling eveywhere! Bent! And starting to crack!
Advice was (this was a tyre place by the way, so they had no benefit to sell me a wheel or whatever) don't drive - one heavy bump/pothole, wheel cracks/splits = certain doom!
Found a replacement for my (albeit popular) alloy on fleabay for 30 quids :)
