when should i change my belts ?
I've done 44,000 miles on a '96 155 2 litre ts

Replied to this elsewhere, as your car is over 5yrs old I would change them now.

As soon as possible ...and cambelt tensioner is the crusial point.

I think you will have got the message by now to change the belts, but one last message from the voice of experience.

My belt snapped way before the service interval, at 90mph in the fast lane of the M1. You would never have believed that valves could be bent in such a way as those we extracted (all 16 of them).The head was almost beyond repair, I ended up buying another head......
