I was at the NICN on Tuesday, (another good meet:thumbs:) and a guest from the wedding party that came to have a look at the cars was asking if I was going to the Batley Brag, I said no because I didn't really know what he was talking about :rolleyes:I did a bit of research today and it looks like it could be a good day out  so I think I will be going. They are stil wanting cars to show aswell if anyone is interested,( I don't think a 1.6 twinny would cut the mustard ) Here is link to the event http://www.batleybrag.co.uk/
Anyone else fancy going? would it make a good meet? Tunnel run in Leeds in the morning and The Brag in the afternoon? (one for the v6 brigade here  and an idea pinched off the Brag site, Thunder In The Tunnel Yorkshire fnaar fnaar)
The date of the Brag is Sat. 25th September.
By the way, NO Alfa's in the line up yet :(

There used to be some good Tetley boozers in Batley, going back a few years now though, I think the wrestler Jim (baby) Breaks used to own one too. I think the last time I was in Batley, was about 1986ish  and I remember the days when The Frontier was Batley Variety Club, saw the legend Tommy Cooper there with about a dozen of the mates, what a night that was

Yer went on the site and it asks you to register for a spot probably just for them to know how many is likely to turn up ...... But I thought the nice touch was it's to raise money for a charity so worth taking the car along and donating a bit for a good cause :)
