Hi
Just Bought A 2004 Alfa Gtv Jts 2.0 Lusso And Upon Wanting To Increase The Tyre Pressure I Discovered No Standard Valves On Wheels. How Do You Inflate The Tyres??? Completely Baffled!

Hey Mate,

I had a similar issue, well sort of an issue. They are standard valves however with an interesting cover on them (typically Alfa fashion;)!

Simply screw off the metal cap that looks like a valve and you are set and get them inflated with nitrogen works wonders!

Cheers Josh

Thanks for answering.I unscrewed the covers as you said but still can't inflate air as i seem to need a valve adapter to fit the air machines.Does anyone know if thats correct i've checked the car and can't find one ??:(

If they are flush fitting valves then yes you should have a screw-in adaptor which you will need for inflation and checking pressures.

Don't waste money getting Nitrogen, there is no point on the road.
(air is 78% Nitrogen anyway)
