Ingredients you need for a smashed mirror.

1) Narrow road with my priority
2) Bad man who doesn’t understand Big Arrow, Little Arrow, road sign

Luckily, I don’t need the car now this weekend, and I have already ordered the mirror glass. Outer casing ok, indicator works, backing plate still adjusts remotely. Grrr, though.

Stupid people are the reason i take extra caution while driving on narrow country roads surrounded by bushes and trees where you can fit only 1.5 car width on the road, they see National Speed limit apply, so why not go 50-60mph in it.
And i go 10-15-max 20 with stress in my mind.

You were fortunate he didn't knock off the entire mirror housing.
What happened - did he give it a good clout with his own mirror?

Sorry to hear this Scud, going off my own experiences I expect they didn’t stop to assess the damage either!

Thanks, gang. Yep, it was mirror to mirror. I reversed after him. He pulled over, looking rather sheepish. I didn’t swear, but I was rather unambiguous in detailing the degree to which his bad driving met with my serious displeasure.
Hopefully the prat will have seen the error of his ways after the confrontation and do things differently in the future.

Hope so. Worse things happen at sea etc… :)
Considering yours is a Volvo @Scudetto, I daresay his mirror came off worse :ROFLMAO:
