Hi All,

My B&M has been playing up a bit recently - when I try to play an album I was getting "no music library" (or words to that effect), which meant I had to remove and replace the memory stick, and then it rebuilt the library and everything was fine.

This morning, however it said "no media found" - sure enough, when I plug the stick into my laptop it is completely empty!

Anyone else had B&M delete all their mp3's??

POSSibly... Although it appears to be fine when used transferring files between laptops etc. I guess I'll just see if it happens again before I start to worry too much

When I first used mine I forgot it was there and clouted it with my hand when lowering the handbrake. After that everything on the stick was corrupted apart from 1 song which insisted on playing over and over again. When I plugged it into my laptop ll the files were still on the stick but only one would play. Very strange. Why put the usb port in such a strange place?

Use a short USB male-female lead.


USB drives don't like to be disconnected when they are being accessed.


Always good to "Stop!" the music before disconnecting the drive from B&M.

Mines just becoming more and more random. I've turned off autoplay - sometimes it still autoplays, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it's the track it was playing when I turned off the ignition, sometimes it the "first" track on the stick. Sometimes it can't find any media at all...

I've kind of given up worrying about it!
