Hello!

I have one of the stupid standard headunits in my Brera that have no aux availability to play songs from my mp3 player.

I have tried and failed with FM transmitters as they are awful.

I noticed there are some kits at like £80 quid, carlink or something, which seems a lot to be honest.

However, I have just come across this:

Hands free mobile phone accessories - Car Phone Kits

Am I right in thinking, from this, connect to back of headunit, run cable into glovebox and I can connect to my MP3 player? Or am I missing something...

ARUK forgot to but Bluetooth or B&M systems on the "S"s

I knocked a cable up last week to try and connect my phone media
player as I'm sick-to-death of the iPod Touch crackle on DRM audiobooks.

The changer cables (blue socket) do not work.
(Maybe I wired it wrong? Dataout->Datain audio left/right and ground.)

Do you want to buy my Kenwood KOS A200.....?

i.e the one I have linked? Why are they selling it then specifically for the Brera / 159.

I am not looking to connect an ipod - just my mp3 player with standard headphone socket.

You'd think it'd be a simple cable solution!

Yeah I'd love an aux-in.

(Well I'd really love A2DP bluetooth, but that ain't gonna happen. :()

There is another (Yellow plug) cable that is meant to work if you don't have Bluetooth/B&M fitted.
