Drove past there today and noticed it no longer exists! Anyone know the story on why it was closed down? I've heard Alfa are streamlining the dealer network to get rid of the bad ones, is this the case here or has the flood damage made them go bust?

Thanks, Savile St is the one I meant. Looks like a long a drive then for any Sheffield Alfa owners as there are no specialist garages in the city that I know of. :(

The Autoworld in Chesterfield and Sheffield co-existed for many years.

This is not a re-location, simply the Sheffield one shut.

Autoworld Sheffield is the reason I no longer own an Alfa. Apparently the Chesterfield branch was always much better.

It seems with these closures and up-grading of the dealerships Alfa are forgetting some of their customers.
I live in Immingham near grimsby and from having a dealer (Dixons) in Grimsby which was closed a few years back we moved to jordan's in Hull which closed so we went to Co-Operative in Lincoln which closed so we were advised that Autoworld in Sheffield would be our next closest dealer and guess what???
Alfa seem to be developing an aversion to the area I live in and it's not good. I spoke to Alfa Customer Services a while back and asked them if they had plans to open anything within 40 miles but they coudl not answer.
At least I have the trusty BLS folk for my servicing.

There's a indie in Huddersfield as well as the excellent Peak Alfa in Hope which is about 30 mins from Sheffield.

Yup, been shut for a few weeks now....some of their stuff was on ebay!

I haven't used the Chesterfield Dealer for much more than parts for a few years but they were ok when I had a new car from there.

My brother in law used Autoworld Chesterfield in preference to the Sheffield one after Sheffield treated him badly once too often.

Despite him living in Sheffield they would collect either him or the car and on top of this their prices for cam belt changeing was over £100 cheaper.

I am currently experiencing the worst level of service in my driving career from AW Chesterfield, so I dread to think what the Sheffield one was like!

I am desperately trying to find a specialist in Chesterfield/Sheffield. Anyone know of one?
