My ph2 ts has an intermittent issue with the autodrop window on the passenger side. When the door is opened it sometimes drops the window all the way down, sometimes half way down, sometimes the correct autodrop and sometimes no movement at all. Any suggestions?

It's probably the autodrop ( 'up down device' in Alfa speak ) microswitch.

It may just have come loose and needs refixing and adjusting. The adjustment procedure in in the workshop manual section 70 ( Bodywork ) starting on page 12.

Alternatively, the microswitch has failed and needs replacing.

You want to go to volume 2 section 70 page 12 to see the procedure. Other parts will deal with removing the door card etc.

Dont want to seem to be hijacking the thread but is the autodrop function only available to the 2000 ( I have a 1999 ) on cars - or have I mis-read the manual ?
