Hi chaps,
I know a lot of people have had the re-map to stop the flat spot low end (I think). Although my car doesn't seem to suffer from any of these problems I was wondering what other advantages the re-map has in terms of Bhp / Torque increases etc? Also how much does this cost?

Sorry if this same question has been asked somewhere down the line.

IIRC, 14bhp & 30 torques was mentioned by Jano some time back. Ask Nev to comment;)

It's 10-12 bhp plus 6-8lb ft of torque. But some mappers have squeezed a bit more out of unmapped cars, 14 bhp and about 8-10 lbft is the best you'll get. Each lb-ft is quite a few newton metres of torque though, I think it's 2.2 NMT per lb-ft, so 10 lb foot is over 20 NMT - quite a nice little gain.

My advice - mod the intake and/or exhaust before mapping ;)
