Hi,
Just managed to get my hands on a Auto dipping Rear view mirror.
Have located the wiring socket.
But how do you fix it to the window screen ?
Also how do you take the old one off the screen.

Can the mirror get changed? as the old mirror has peeling down the bottom.
I have the old mirror which I can swap over?

Any help would be great.

The mirror is just fitted onto a /\ shaped bracket on the windscreen, on the mirror itself there is a cutout with a ball catch to hold it in place.
To remove the old one it needs a sharp tap upwards and it just lifts off then the new one (off a 166 I presume?) slides back onto the bracket.
There is a thread going into a lot more detail on this, and have added a pic of the bracket to clarify things a bit.
